My journey

Helping clients retire isn’t a sprint—it’s an ultramarathon. I partner with advisors to make sure they’re ready for every mile. I’m Peggy Richardson.

I’ve spent the last 20 years in the financial services industry, building a career rooted in strategy, mentorship, and real human connection. I’ve worked with some of the top advisors in the country, led high-performing teams, and developed a reputation for translating complex insurance solutions into purposeful, long-lasting strategies.

For years, I thrived in leadership—most recently heading up the Risk Management Consulting division at Highland Capital Brokerage. There, I built and mentored an incredible team of rising professionals who supported advisors nationwide. Watching them grow into confident, capable experts was one of the great joys of my career.

And then, I hit pause.

I took a sabbatical to focus on self-development, reclaim my health, and reconnect with the things that matter most. I dove into endurance sports—mountain ultramarathons ranging from 30+ miles to an ambitious goal of 100+ miles—and re-centered around wellness, motherhood, and intentional living.

That time away gave me a fresh perspective. I realized how much I missed working directly with advisors. That face-to-face, shoulder-to-shoulder work? That’s where the magic happens.

Today, I’m back in the field with renewed purpose. I partner with financial professionals to build plans that endure—not just financially, but holistically. I believe that the same principles that help someone complete an ultramarathon also help someone retire with confidence: preparation, discipline, and a whole lot of heart.

I’m passionate about helping advisors create not just client plans, but full-spectrum success. That means building in protection and income solutions, sure. But it also means helping professionals find life-work harmony—because success isn’t about doing it all; it’s about aligning what matters most so you can thrive in every facet of life: career, health, family, and self.

This next chapter is about connection, endurance, and legacy—for you, your clients, and me.

Let’s go the distance together.

Ideas are great. Execution is better. Let’s talk partnership.
